The Public Employment Service Office Central Luzon Federation in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment recently concluded the PESO Mid-Year Performance Assessment (MYPA) last August 09-10, 2018 at the Harvest Hotel, Cabanatuan City and was well attended by more or less 145 PESO Managers and personnel from the seven provinces in Central Luzon, officers from the Central Luzon Career Guidance Network (CL-CGN) and officers from the DOLE under the Technical Support and Services Division for Employment and Welfare. The two-day MYPA was conducted to measure PESO’s mid-year scorecards in terms of its core services and other related services. During the first day, newly promoted Mr. Alejandro Inza Cruz, TSSD Head for Employment and Mr. Andre Josef Bustos, DOLE RO3 Labor Statistician presented the the accomplishments of PESO Central Luzon in terms of placement, job fairs, career guidance, special program for employment of students, government internship program, livelihood programs and other employment facilitation programs and services.
The event was graced by no less than the Regional Director Ma. Zenaida Eusebia Angara-Campita who oversee the assessment. She assured the federation of DOLE’s continued support and assistance to provide more employment opportunities.
During the second day, the participants were oriented on the DOLE Sustainable Livelihood Framework (SLF), which aims to institutionalize the program on DILP-funded projects. All the beneficiaries of the DILP-funded projects from 2015 and 2016 will be subjected to monitoring and evaluation. A PESO hour was also conducted to discuss the upcoming National PESO Congress and the financial statement of the organization was also reported by the treasurer.
