P/Supt Marlon Roque Santos is new Baliwag CoP.


Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando – The Philippine National Police Bulacan Provincial Directorate has announced the appointment of P/Supt. Marlon Santos as the new Baliwag Chief of Police. He succeded his classmate, P/Supt Froilan Uy. Prior to his new assignment as the new Baliwag Chief of Police, Santos was S2 or intelligence chief of PNP Bulacan.

Santos faces challenges ahead as Baliwag remains underman with only less than sixty uniformed personnel assigned in Baliwag for a population that balloons to 750,000 during peak hours. However, Santos is still expected to perform well, given the culture of excellence established and promoted within the local government of Baliwag.

Baliwag Police Station was regcognized Best Municipal Police Station in Regionc 3 and Best Municipal Police Station in the Province. He is also expected to increase the number of drug cleared barangays, Baliwag having two at present. Police plays a significant role in the attainment of the Seal of Good Local Governance having Public Order and Public Safety as one of the four core indicators.
