High FiVE Badge, Launched during the Institutional Partners Night 2018


BALIWAG, May 22- Municipal Administrator Enrique Tagle on Tuesday briefly explained the High FiVE Badge, a program of the Municipality that aims  to push not only the practice of Serbisyong may Malasakit  but also the culture of excellence among the business establishments,  on its launch during the Baliwag Institutional Partners Night.

In accordance with Mayor Ferdie Estrella’s directive of engaging all private establishments  through their corporate social  responsibility of having quality standards and  in elevating  sustainable development, Executive Order No. 12  was signed thus, High FiVE Badge was created.

The Baliwag High FiVE Badge is a Municipal Awards System which is a seal of excellence for business entities who have successfully fulfilled its corporate social responsibility.  This will recognize and reward compliant businesses in congruity with the local government’s major thrusts.  The seal will be conferred to establishments that will meet the following requirements: Financial Administration, Risk Management and Disaster Preparedness, Environment Management, Social Protection and Public Safety.

The said award system was intentionally constituted during the Partners Night for this was attended by the Top Business Taxpayers in Baliwag as well as institutions and organizations that had been partners of the local government in delivering Magiliw, Maagap, Mahusay, Maaasahan at Magkakatuwang na Serbisyo.

In his message, MA Tagle stressed that the program seeks to engage the establishments to review their business performance and procedures, and at the same time serve as a channel for sharing best practices, innovations, promote professional improvement and business development.

“As we launch the High FiVE Badge tonight in the spirit of good governance, we enjoin everyone to participate and nominate your business and companies and be recognized for your quality of work and excellence in service,” he ended.

Meanwhile, the target date implementation of the High FiVE Badge will be all-year round with screening and selection process that will run from March to April. Awarding will be done during the Buntal Hat Festival in May.

Baliwag Investment Promotions Unit will distribute the application forms for this  to business establishments during the renewal of business permits.
