LGU-Baliwag has done it again!
The Municipality of Baliwag through the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) has been recognized again for sharing their municipality’s best practices and its exceptional contribution in promoting environmental management and preservation as part of the PLLENRO’s (Philippine League of Local Environment and Natural Resources Officers, Inc.) 9th National Convention. It was held on April 14, 2018 at Davao City with the theme, “Preparing Communities on Good Local Environmental Governance”.
One of the highlights of the PLLENRO’s 9th National Convention was the announcement of municipality’s awardees in the search for the municipality with best environmental practices. It was attended by various Environmental Officers from different municipalities nationwide. Fortunately, the LGU-Baliwag has been chosen as one of the Top 36 municipalities in the country being recognized for their shared best environmental practices. Also, one of the Top 3 chosen municipalities with best environmental practices for regional category.
Glancing back to last year, the Municipality of Baliwag was also awarded of the same recognition. Kudos to Mr. Edgar Luna (MENRO) and for the whole team of MENRO Baliwag! Keep up the good work aiming to deliver a quality service with Serbisyong may Malasakit para sa Kalikasan.
