November 29, 2017– The Living Angels Christian Academy had marked their 20th Founding Anniversary with a special event called Honoring Partners which was held at the Legend Villas, Mandaluyong City. LACA is situated at Sto. Cristo, Baliwag, Bulacan.
Honoring Partners was a celebration of LACA’s giving gratitude to their business partners, organizations, and various people who had helped them build the educational institution from a small community until registering more than 1500 students for the current school year.
As a partner from the LGU, Mayor Ferdie V. Estrella was given a plaque of recognition for his commendable leadership and unwavering support to his constituents most especially the students of Baliwag community. The plaque was received by Municipal Treasurer Martiniano Javier together with Investment Promotions Officer Karen Joy Rivera representing Mayor FVE since the latter attended the Seal of Good Local Governance awarding ceremony at the Tent City, Manila Hotel.
LACA was founded by Ms. Corazon S. Santos in 1997 together with Mr. Wyden King who is now the Chairman of the School Board. The school offers an educational curriculum that focuses both in Christian formation and academic excellence.
As part of Mr. King’s speech during the event, “Success is not all that is important, character and integrity are also needed to be given value. We wanted to educate children not only intellectually but also we want to educate their hearts, hearts that have compassion for the less fortunate.”
“ What our country needs today are men and women with character. Righteous leaders and people with integrity and that is our vision, to plant to the young minds of these values.” he added.
Congratulations to LACA for their 20 years and beyond!
