In a stern warning to frontliners and heads of offices, Mayor Ferdie once again reiterated his call to be faithful to the citizen’s charter.
“I have information that there are some offices that remained unperturbed and defiant of my orders to observe the citizen’s charter with integrity. I will not tolerate any of your actions and I will order immediate filing of cases once I receive another complaint from citizens.”
This came after the Baliwag Public Assistance and Complaint Center forwarded to the Office of the Mayor complaints made by a member of the business community who allegedly was being forced to purchase a fire-fighting equipment from a favored supplier.
“I call on the public especially the business community to report such kind of misconduct at the same time, I request the public not to engage in fixing. Let us change the culture by not being party to any attempts to settle by fixing. Hindi natin ito mawawakasan kung kayo mismo ay kinukunsinte ito. My facebook is open to receive complaints 24/7 and I will make sure this will be addressed. If an office doesn’t issue official receipt or try to fix settlement, please let me know.
