The Baliwag Youth Development Office invites all interested students currently enrolled in Junior HighSchool or Senior High School situated in Baliwag. Dubbed as Kabataan para sa Kapayapaan Advocacy Film Competition, this contest was inspired by the recent achievement of Baliwagenyo David Solis, a student of St. Mary’s College of Baliwag whose short documentary , the entry of Baliwag to the Philippine Population Commission Film-Making Contest, made its way to Nationals and then to Bangladesh for the Youth International Film Festival.
Then, there’s Baliwagenya Babyruth Villarama-Gutierrez, the acclaimed director of Sunday Beauty Queen who inspired the Youth Office to carry on with this contest.
